The rumour mill has been awash with comments about Liam Payne and Cheryl’s relationship over the past few days.
Reports have been circulating stating that the couple called it quits on their relationship, however, Cheryl has hit back at the claims.
In an interview with BBC Breakfast, the Fight For This Love singer said that she has more important things to focus on other than gossip about her personal life.
Speaking at the launch of the Prince’s Trust and Cheryl’s Trust centre, the pop star stated the rumours don't bother her, “No it doesn’t bother me at all because my focus is solely on this."
The mum explained that her charity work is her main focus, adding that she pays no attention to the gossip, “None of that matters, this is the most important part for me.”
The pair share eleven-month-old son Bear together, but reports claim that parenthood has put a strain on their relationship.
However, just before the new year, Liam penned an emotional open letter to Cheryl and his son.
Alongside a photo of the dad and baby Bear wearing matching shoes, he wrote: “2017 has been a crazy year! I'm gonna post a memory every day this week.”
The Strip That Down singer continued, “First has to be my baby boy Bear! Holding him for the first time is a memory I will never forget and watching him grow up is just amazing to see. @cherylofficial has been an incredible mother to baby Bear since the day he was born, and I can’t thank her enough for that.”
We can’t help but doubt the breakup rumours after reading the For-You singer’s kind words.
