Cellulite, love handles, stretch marks - they're all just part of being a mum.

However, social media is often inundated with images of models and actresses that are edited to the nth degree. Seeing these photos can give us unrealistic expectations for ourselves - and can lead to negative body image for our kids, too.

Stacey Solomon knows just how difficult it is to live in the world of airbrushed Insta posts. She's spoken out against edited photos in the past, and the mum-of-two has continued her crusade in her latest Insta post.

"Normal bodies rule! Happy Monday... if you need some realistic motivation  #Nofilter #PerfectlyImperfect #WeAreBeautuful #mondaymotivation" the 28-year-old captioned a snap of herself and her sons playing at the pool.

We can't help but feel inspired by her love-yourself attitude!

Her fans on social media also felt moved by the Loose Women panellists' words.

"Love, love, love this, thanks for keeping it real," an Insta follower commented, "You're a true beauty, Stacey, inside and out."

One mum was inspired to be kinder to herself after seeing Stacey's post: "I’m a 42-year-old working mum who hates how I look, but I need to stop, accept who I am now, and just stop comparing myself to literally everyone. Love you beautiful."

Thank you Stacey for your honesty and body positivity! We need more role models like her.

The next time you look in the mirror, we hope you see just how beautiful you are!
