The journey to school is almost always rushed and can often set us in a bad mood for the day. Oh, if only someone was waiting at the gate to hand us a steaming cup of coffee….wait.

That is exactly what Gabriel and Heather Rael decided to do, after their kids started at Expedition School, in North Carolina.

The Raels are the owners of the ‘Caffe Ole’ truck, which sells coffee to teachers and parents alike, from the school car park.

Ever since being opened on site, the truck has gone down a total hit with parents, who have even come to look forward to the early morning drop-off.

Explaining the inspiration behind the business, mum Heather told Today.com: "My husband was waiting in line recently to pick up our daughter and seeing all the cars just sitting there. He thought it would be nice to be able to get out of his car and get something to drink.”

“He also remembered when I was a teacher and I always wanted a place where I could get a good cup of coffee, so hence the coffee truck at the school,” she added.

Stationed in the car park, the truck doesn’t get in the way of the traffic flow – so it really is a win-win situation for everyone!

Now, who wants to petition for one of these at our schools?

SHARE with a fellow parent who would love a truck like this at their school.
