UPDATE, October 18: Police have confirmed that Leah has been found safe.

 

Police have appealed for help in locating an 11-year-old girl who has been missing since yesterday.

 

Leah Taylor was last seen on Monday, at 12:10pm, in the Holderness Road area of Hull. She had just left Marvell College, where she goes to school.

 

Humberside Police are now searching for Leah, and have released a statement with more information.

 

Leah is described as being white, around 5ft tall, of slim build. She has shoulder-length brown hair.

 

 

When last seen, the 11-year-old was wearing a black blazer, white shirt with a black and yellow tie, black trousers and black shoes, and was carrying a brown school bag.

 

The police have appealed to anyone with information to get in touch immediately. You can do so by calling 101, quoting log 620 of 16/10/17; alternatively, you can contact your local police station.

 

We will keep you updated on the story as more information emerges. We are thinking of Leah’s family, and we sincerely hope that she will be found safe and sound, soon.
