Police are searching for two children after they attacked a teenager after finishing school last week.
The boys, thought to be aged just 11 and 12, are said to have pulled a 16-year-old from his bicycle as he rode home from school before kicking him in the head.
A spokesman for the Northamptonshire Police said in a statement:
“The 16-year-old victim was pulled off his bicycle in Rickyard Road, behind the school, some time between 2pm and 3pm last Thursday.
“They then took his bag and emptied the contents into a bush before kicking the victim in the head causing a fractured skull and nose.”

Police are now looking for anyone who may have information on the attack which took place near Weston Favell Academy in Northampton.
