Neutrogena Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream is a classic beauty product that is known for its effective relief of dry, chapped hands. The product was inspired by Norwegian fishermen who discovered that the fish oils they were handling left them with soft and supple hands, despite the extremely cold and harsh conditions. The handcream was developed with dermatologists, and contains nearly 40% glycerin, a much higher concentration than most other moisturisers.

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula® Hand Cream claims to instantly relieve dry hands and help to restore the skin’s barrier effectively while leaving skin moisturised for 24 hours once applied. According to the experts. the high glycerin concentration in the hand cream also means that only a dab is needed each time - so we had to give it the MummyPages test.

After trying Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream, I can give it a major thumbs up. The product did exactly what it said it would do. It left my hands feeling soft, smooth and flake free and the feeling lasted for at least 24 hours. Although the formula had a thick consistency, it absorbed into my skin within minutes, giving my hands some long overdue TLC.

Glycerin, one of the main ingredients in this product has a great affinity with the skin and attracts moisture from the environment and deeper layers odeeper layers of the skin, to store in the epidermis. Studies show that high concentration glycerin moisturisers can help repair dry skin faster and can give better relief from dryness than low glycerin moisturisers.

Neutrogena Norwegian Formula® Concentrated Hand Cream is available in both scented and unscented versions at €5.72 for 50ml and is a must have for all mums and mums-to-be.
