Having announced at the beginning of the year that she's expecting her second child with husband Pasquale Rotella, former Playboy playmate, Holly Madison, has now decided to open up about the sex of her impending arrival.
Speaking to US Weekly, the 36-year-old reality television star confirmed that the couple and their three-year-old daughter Rainbow are due to welcome a baby boy into their home later this year.
While the news has no doubt brought untold joy to Holly and Pasquale's lives, it's possible little Rainbow may not be as enthused by the news as her doting parents.
Speaking prior to the big reveal, Rainbow's mum, Holly, admitted that her daughter is angling for a little sister to care for, saying: "She really wants a sister! So, if it's a boy, I hope she's not too disappointed."
Like many mothers, Holly has noticed a marked difference in her first and second pregnancies, telling the publication: "I'm not reading up on it every day like I was with Rainbow, I'm just busy chasing after her so the time is going by super fast. I blinked and half the pregnancy was over."
Turning her attention to the future, the former Girls of the Playboy Mansion star, discussed the changes her home furnishings will take prior to her son's highly-anticipated arrival.
Chatting about nursery ideas, the star who says she's fortunate not to have experienced much nausea during her nine-month journey, said: "I think it's going to be kind of vaguely neutral. Rainbow's is Alice in Wonderland in our house in Vegas and then here in L.A. it's totally pink so this one will go another direction."
Holly and Pasquale tied the knot in 2013 six months after their first child's arrival in March of that year.
