Here at MummyPages, we love trying out the newest items on the Baby circuit. Mum Ciara was super excited to be sent the Sandsliders product.
This award-winning product does exactly what it says it will; it glides through rough terrain, as well as sand. Perfect for those long evening strolls!
You simply attach this light accessory to your pram, place it under the back wheels on the pram and you're all set! Sandsliders also help reduce the amount of debris in pram wheels, prolonging the life of your pram, so that's another reason to love it.
I live in the countryside, so I tested out the product over fields and pebble pathways. It was really easy to fit and position and once I was set up, it glided along.
It is a trustworthy, simple product as it is easy to fold, easy to store and most importantly as it's the summer, easy to travel with - an added plus is that being so light, it wouldn’t add to your baggage allowance for an overseas flight either. It does exactly what it promises to on the tin, so to speak, and very well, so I was very happy.
I have two prams myself, a Quinny Buzz and a McLaren Quest. The McLaren is the one I use for trips away, beach visits and so on. The Sansliders product is more suited to a narrower pram. Don’t get me wrong, it still worked on the Quinny, but it would be more suited to a slimmer pram, in my opinion.
Overall, this is a great accessory that answers a real problem that every family has once they hit the beach (or when winter comes around, the snow!) because is there anything worse than waking up the just-dosed-off baby after the pram wheels have got stuck?
The price point is very reasonable too, so all in all, I give it the thumbs up.
