They were due to get married this past summer, and given how they are still living together, we imagine that communication and compromise are key to Natasha Hamilton’s relationship with ex-fiancé Ritchie Neville.
In light of this, former 5ive singer Ritchie has made his thoughts on Natasha’s new boyfriend, Charles Gay, clear.
Ritchie and Natasha are parents to a one-year-old daughter, Ella, and the boyband star admitted he feels it’s far too soon for the tot to be introduced to Charles.
In an interview with The Sun, the 37-year-old said: “That would be way too early. It would be terribly wrong to introduce them to new partners and stuff that quick.”
“At the end of the day, the plan was we were getting married in June. It just wouldn’t be right – not that I have a new partner,” he added.
Ritchie and Natasha got together while filming the ITV reality show, The Big Reunion, back in 2013. They went on to welcome their daughter a year later, in September.
Ritchie went on to qualify his comments, saying: “The main thing is it’s not a time thing. It’s how serious you are about the relationship, then you’ve got to give it some time. Kids can be sensitive to that.”
Natasha is also mum to 13-year-old Josh, 10-year-old Harry and four-year-old Alfie, from previous relationships.
