It looks like Sandra Bullock had us all fooled when she denied that she had become a mother-of-two a few weeks back!
Despite denying rumours that she had adopted a little girl, the Oscar-winning actress confirmed this week that her family has indeed expanded.
The 51-year-old confirmed the news to People magazine, revealing that she recently adopted three-and-a-half year old Laila. Laila, who is originally from Louisiana, had previously been in foster care.
In an interview with People, Sandra admitted that she is naturally ecstatic to be a mother again.
“When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here. I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time,” she gushed.
Of course, Sandra is already mum to little Louis, and he joined her and his new sister for a beautiful photo shoot for the magazine.
Recalling the process of Laila’s journey and settling into her new family home, Sandra added: “I knew she was scared, and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren’t going anywhere.”
