Ever since a heavily pregnant Demi Moore graced the cover of Vanity Fair back in 1991, soon-to-be mothers have been enlisting the help of photographers all over the world in an effort to document their incredible nine-month journey.
And here at MummyPages HQ, we have (unsurprisingly) seen thousands of these truly beautiful shoots, but we'll be honest and admit none have stood out quite as much as expectant mother Lilica's.
Adorable pet pooch Lilica, heavily pregnant with a litter of puppies, has clearly taken to impending motherhood like a duck to water in a series of photographs which were captured by Brazilian photographer Ana Paula Grillo.
Basking in her current condition, soon-to-be mum, Lilica, can be seen proudly displaying her distended tummy as she poses for the photographer who has shared the images across her official Facebook page - Anna Fotografia - this month.
The images, which have been liked and shared tens of thousands of times in recent weeks, have been described as both "lovely and charming" by the proud photographer who simultaneously captured Lilica's delight and the hearts of the public.
Inundated with comments and posts, the images have gone viral and we're happy to report that Lilica has since given birth to a litter of healthy puppies.
This is one of the sweetest shoots we've seen in a long time!
