Jerrika Aiken was “furious and embarrassed” when the shop to which she had given her photos to be printed, refused to hand over some of them telling her they were “obscene”.

The photos removed were those showing her breastfeeding her baby son, and of her kids in the bath from the chest up.

Jerrika asked to speak to the manager, and demanded they hand over her photos. They told her they have a no nudity policy, but agreed to give her the pictures "just this one time”.

"I said that I would be calling the cops about my photos because I could pull my breast out right here and nurse my child," Jerrika said.

"And there wasn't a damn thing they could do because federal law protects me. It was discrimination about my photos."

Jerrika also left an angry message on the shop’s Facebook page, which has received huge support from fellow parents.

“I am honestly outraged that today, the Oxford, AL Sam's Club, tried to refuse me my photos."

“The most upsetting part is that breastfeeding is NOT nudity and I feel very discriminated against and embarrassed that there would be any issue with my photos of a completely natural and healthy act.”

“I hope this will come across to the right person, and possibly stop this discrimination which is 100% illegal to discriminate against. I pray no other mother is treated this way at Sam's Club.”

The manager at the store has reportedly called Jerrika to apologise for her treatment, but the has been no comment from Sam’s Club officials.
