Jordin Sparks shocked us this month when she revealed that not only did she and husband Dana Isaiah secretly get married this summer, but they are also expecting their first child!
The couple decided to keep things exciting by having a Thanksgiving gender reveal.
The American Idol winner shared the photo with her 1.4M Insta followers, showing her and Dana holding up blue Easter grass with giant smiles on their faces.
It’s a boy!
“We have so much to be thankful for and this is definitely at the top of the list!” the expecting mum wrote in the caption.
She expressed her excitement at her husband having ‘a little mini-me running around’.
“We can't wait to meet him. We love you lil man!” the mum-to-be said.
Her husband also had an Instagram post about the gender reveal… and it’s a bit more cryptic.
Dana wrote in the caption, “How beautiful it is to remain silent when someone expects you to be enraged. Son, you will be welcomed into this world with nothing but love from the people that matter. There will always be haters get used to it now. Just know your parents and family got you! Always be unapologetically YOU!”
While we’re not entirely sure what he’s responding to, it is a good message to be yourself!
Fans of Jordin and Dana alike are sending the couple well-wishes.
One Instagram follower said, “Happy Thanksgiving and congratulations you two...soon to be three!”
“Congratulations to you two! Imagine the voice that little guy will have!” said another user.
The happy couple is expecting their new family member to arrive in late spring 2018.
