Stephen Fry and his husband Elliott Spencer married five months in a beautiful ceremony, and now it seems the comedian and his hubby are considering becoming parents.
Talking to BBC Radio Four presenter Kirsty Young during his appearance as a castaway on Desert Island Discs, the 57-year-old said that he and Elliott have discussed children and feels he doesn’t have much time to waste.
Fry, who recently admitted he had to cut short his honeymoon to Honduras amid homophobia, said: “We do talk about it. And then I think I am such an age now … But maybe that is rather good. But we had better get on with it, if we do.”
Talking about his marriage to 27-year-old Elliott, he said that he is still currently in the honeymoon phase:
“I’m still very much in the honeymoon phase. I think we both are, I hope so, and new and miraculous things have happened in our culture and I wanted to celebrate that and what better way than to be married. It’s bliss, I do carry a ridiculous beam on my face.”
Ah, how sweet!
