Mother, Debbie Foster has said thanks to the kind actions of strangers her son will now be able to have life-changing surgery.

Debbie’s son suffers from a rare condition called Leigh's Syndrome, which can cause someone to eventually lose control of their muscles.

Debbie who lives in the UK was unable to get the surgery that would alleviate her son’s pain on the National Health Service(NHS), so she decided to create an online site to help raise money for her son's surgery.

Thanks to her successful online campaign, Jack is now able to have the surgery required due to raising over £10,000 online.

Debbie revealed that she had also lost her son Robert to the same disease when he was just four-years-old and feared the same might have happened to Jack.

“It's very humbling, truly amazing. It restores your faith in people. It just shows there are so many good, caring people in this world. I want to thank everyone who has donated, it means the world to us.”
