Parenthood is the most wonderful thing in the world, but it is certainly challenging – which is why we need all the help we can get.
Imgur user ‘Avid Climber’ knows this only too well, and he has sent a special message out to dads all over the world this week.
Posting a photo of himself in bed with his wife, who is passed out with exhaustion, and their infant son, he urged the dads to step up to the plate as best they can.

Pregnancy can be such an exhausting time, and many new mums can be left feeling overwhelmed as they face into the demands of caring for a newborn.
While we don’t love the use of the phrase ‘real men’ (who can even attempt to define this?), we love the sentiment behind ‘Avid Climber’s’ call to action.
We agree with the commenters, though – his wife is going to kill him for posting a photo of her catching 40 winks!
