Angleine Tu Tran had no clue what was about to happen when she snapped an innocent picture of her dad.
The teenager, who was raised in California, was visiting her dad in Vietnam, where she was born.
The young girl, wanting to get to grips with her roots, decided to take a year out of university to trek around the wonderful sites of the Asian country with her father.
But on her travels, something wonderful and unplanned occurred.
They were hiking the sites of Da Lat when Angeline had noticed her dad picking up certain leaves.
When the 18-year-old asked him why he was doing so, he informed his daughter that the leaves looked like hearts.
But when they returned home, Dad began writing a name in the sand and carefully placing the leaves around it.

The name was ‘Huyen’, and Angeline's dad asked her to take a photo of him.
Huyen, was a friend who Dad admired.
They had been friends for about a year, but neither of them had acted on their mutual feelings toward one another.
Tran, not thinking too much about the story, tweeted the photos, while dad sent the photos to his beloved Huyen .
And the cute pair are now hoping to go on a date!
