Ever heard the phrase ‘I could die of cuteness’? Well, if that was actually a real thing, we bet we would be total goners right now.
Remember Lilica, the gorgeous daschund who went viral for featuring in the most beautiful maternity photo shoot we have ever seen? Well, she has given birth, and a follow-up shoot has proven that she is, quite possibly, the proudest mother in the world!
Lilica recently welcomed five pups, and Anna Paulo Grillo – who captured the sweet images from her maternity shoot – headed back to the dog’s back-garden to snap some shots with the newborns.
It’s clear to see, from one glance at the photo of protective Lilica surrounded by her babies, that she is overcome with delight to be a mum.
In another photo, Lilica looks blissful as her five adorable babies nurse from her, while Grillo also treated us to some stunning close-ups of the furry little ones themselves.
Sharing the photos to Facebook, Grillo thanked Lilica’s owners for giving her the opportunity to capture these special moments.
“You guys are the best neighbours I could have,” she wrote.
Don’t mind us, we’re just filled with love right now.
