Saying goodbye is always tough, and it’s no different for teachers come the school year's end.

But one primary school teacher from Oklahoma found a fab way to remember the kids she teaches. As the year’s end approached, Chris-ShaRee Castlebury knew she wouldn’t be their teacher in September.

So one day, she brought a plain white dress into the classroom. Then she asked each of her first graders to draw pictures, write messages and even sign their names on it.

Best of all, she even wore the special outfit on the last day of school as a tribute to her tots.

“I fall in love with them and then you have to push them on and I wanted to do something to hold onto that,” she told The Lawton Constitution.

“I hope each year my kids always know how loved and cherished they are by me…they become part of my family without even realising how much they touch me on an hourly basis.”

Aww, what a sweet teach!
