A dad captured the heart-warming moment his daughter decided to give her dinner to a homeless man.
Proud dad Eddie Scott filmed the moment his little Ella took her untouched plate of food to the man sitting outside the restaurant they were in, handing it to him along with a fork.
“My girl right here, I love her to bits,” the dad announced to the restaurant as she skipped out to do her good deed.
“Ella, you're amazing,” Eddie told his daughter when she came back inside. “I think you just made his day. I think you just made his week. How does that make you feel?'
“I like it,” the big-hearted little girl responded.
On his Facebook page, Eddie said they both used to live in New York, so were used to seeing people in hard situations. He had been teaching his daughter since she was little to help those less fortunate – and obviously it paid off.
“This was a great opportunity to show her it is important to give back to the community, especially to those less fortunate,” he told the Daily Dish. “It made her feel good and it made me feel good too. I’m proud of her.”
What a wonderful gesture!
