Wow!
There’s something so incredibly awe-inspiring about the cord – the way it tethers our baby to us, nourishing them, and for the course of our pregnancy making us one.
So when we saw these images of newborn babies in that other-worldly in between – officially in the world but still attached to their mums by their cords – we were blown away by their power.
The stunning images were taken by talented US birth photographer Monet Nicole, who kindly gave us permission to share them with you.
