It’s Monday, and we’re already missing the weekend, so a dose of baby cuteness is exactly what we need to get through the morning – that, and a coffee, right mums? Well, thankfully for us, KP the Baby is here to put us in a great mood.
KP the Baby, aka five-month-old Kaden, has become an internet sensation this week, after adorable footage of his morning routine went viral online.
Kaden sleeps each night in a sleep sack or gro-bag, swaddled and nestled up tightly. Each morning, when his father Kent comes in to get him out of bed, he does the exact same sweet gesture: he stretches his arms out to celebrate his freedom, yawning and giggling!
So amused was Kent that he started recording the early morning routine, and decided to add some fun into the mix by dubbing over some appropriate sound bites – including Mel Gibson’s famous Braveheart ‘freedom’ speech!
And what did Kent do with the footage? Well, what does any parent living in our tech-obsessed world do with a cute baby video? He posted it online – and it has become one of the viral hits of 2017.
Kaden now has his own dedicated Instagram account, too, and parents all over the world have been flocking to the page to gush over the adorable tot.
“My baby does the exact same thing when I un-swaddle her! Such a cute boy!” wrote one of KP’s fans.
And with KP making headlines around his native Philadelphia, another chimed in: “Just saw this handsome little one on 6ABC News Philly’s viral video spot. It made my day!! Thank you for sharing.”
We reckon it won’t be too long before KP has his own clothing line – or should we say, swaddle blanket line!
Now, how about that to shake off the cobwebs of a Monday morning?!
