Whatever you make of Donald Trump, there's at least one cihld who's grateful for his apparent rise to power.

Donald Trump has spent much of his campaign reminding the public of his greatness, and of just how great he’ll make America (again). In a victory speech in Las Vegas after winning the Nevada caucuses, Trump didn’t mince his words:

“We’re going to get greedy for the United States. We’re gonna grab andgrab and grab. We’re gonna bring in so much money and so much everything.”

So much everything! Excellent news. He also bypassed modesty when he said the following:

“We will have so much winning when I get elected you may get bored with winning.”

Well, apparently the children are listening — and following his lead.

In a recent post to the website Reddit titled, “This is why I teach”, a teacher shared what is clearly a Trump-inspired response to the following question: “What is the capital of Canada?”

In Trump’s blustery manner, the student launched into a pitch-perfect response:

The text reads: “Of course I know the capital of Canada. It’s a great country. It’s really great. Everyone wants to know what the capital of Canada is. And you know what I tell them? I tell them, we have a foolproof plan for naming the capital of Canada. And that’s why were going to be the best at naming the capital of Canada. #MakeCanadaGreatAgain”

Like Trump, this student may not have a clue what the answer is, but he or she sure knows how to fill a page with unmerited confidence. And the kid has something Trump doesn’t: a strong sense of irony.

And apparently the public can appreciate that irony, because the post has been viewed more than two million times since it was posted yesterday.

We’re pleased to say this student earned the bonus mark, despite omitting one crucial word from the answer: Ottawa.

SHARE if you think this kid is a legend!
