Eight-year-old Aj felt so depressed by the bullying he endured day after day at an after-school programme that he contemplated taking his own life.

But his mum Brandy Noel wasn't going to sit back and let it continue. Seh wrote a powerful Facebook post against his bullies and it has now gone viral.

Sharing a photo of her son, Brandy included the words that have stuck with her ever since she found just how far the bullying had gone: "Mom, they bully me so bad. I want to kill myself."

In the post, which has been viewed a whopping 25,000 times, she wrote: "This is my Aj. He is the sweetest, funniest, most loveable kid. He is my heart. Unfortunately, he has been being bullied by 3 older boys at Norman #YMCA after school program for quite some time."

She went on to say that she has tried her best to put a stop to it, but that her efforts have been in vain.
"I’ve tried all I can to get it stopped but no one took it seriously," she said.

Aj eventually fell into a bout of depression, so Brandy booked him an appointment to see a counsellor to discuss medication, but a week before the appointment, his depression spiralled out of control.

"I didn't realise how bad his depression was," she wrote. "Then, my sweet boy just had enough and the depression and anger got to be too much for him and he acted out. He is now hospitalised and on suicide watch."

Brand says she's furious that the boy didn't get the help he so badly needed.

"I'm angry," she said. "I'm angry that noone took us seriously. I'm angry at those children's parents for failing them and in return failing my child. I'm angry that these parents couldn't build their kids up with confidence, so they could help others rather than making them feel so insecure they had to tear others down."

She continued: "Most of all, I'm angry because I have no control over any of it. My son is in a hospital thinking his life is not worth living because 3 kids bullied him everyday."

Since Brandy posted her words and the photos to Facebook, people haev reached out offering their love and support to little Aj - including Aj's soccer team, who Brandy says have offered her child a glimmer of hope.'

Other Facebook users have been offering their support with their own selfies after the hashtag #StandWithAJ was created by Brandy.

Thankfully, Aj has been able to come home and he's been overwhelmed by the support he's received from all corners of the world.

His mum has been helping him to build up some self-confidence using her own makeshift gym apparatus.
She has shared a heartwarming vid of him smiling and enjoying life again, just as it should be.

Got the first plyo box built. Its the biggest one so more than likely I will use this one but Aj wanted to try it out #StandWithAj :)
