Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien, who married Adam Crofts on New Year's Eve, has someone important to thank for even meeting him in the first place.
Her daughter, Scarlett.
In Adam's wedding speech, it has been revealed that he met Tina for the first time because Scarlett, who was two-years-old at the time, toddled over to him in a coffee shop.
He thanked her for helping them find each other when he said, ''We should all say a big thank you to Scarlett because she is pretty much the reason we’re all here today.''
He continued, ''Scarlett is the first one who approached me in Starbucks when she was about two and a half years old, ice cream all down her face and said: 'Hello, man', and Tina soon came scuttling after her!''
He added, ''To the Crofts! We’re married! We did it! I just want to say how much I love you and how incredibly lucky I feel to be your husband.”
Awwww.
Tina and Adam have been together for seven years.
The 35-year-old was previously in a long-term relationship with Corrie co-star Ryan Thomas, who is Scarlett's dad.
She also has a four-year-old son, Beau, with new husband Adam.
What a cute story - congratulations to the newlyweds.
