When it comes to inspiring stories that touch hearts and imaginations, it doesn’t get much better than Toy Story.
The adventures of Andy’s toy collection, including such characters as Woody and Buzz Lightyear, are truly heartwarming, so we’re not surprised to see the effort a group of super-fans went to recreate the iconic world.
That’s right, Toy Story’s biggest fans have spent the past two years recreating a real-life version of Andy’s bedroom, and it’s safe to say that they have nailed it.
From the toy box to Andy’s bedroom door and headboard, every detail has been painstakingly copied and recreated, and the real-life version is so vivid that you could almost mistake it for the cartoon.
Needless to say, the story and photos have taken the online world by storm, and Toy Story fans everywhere have been having a serious moment.
Explaining the inspiration behind the project, one of those involved, Morgan McGrew, told media: “We began collecting just about every new toy from the film to accompany the ones we had as kids. Let’s fast-forward two years. By this time I’m 16 and I finally realise that Toy Story 3 was more than just my favourite film, it was actually kind of my life.”
“I didn’t want to miss my chance to thank Pixar for making Toy Story 3 and every other film for that matter,” he added.
