When it comes to taking care of our skin, it is important we don’t forget that a proper nightly ritual is just as important as our daytime habits.

 

Remove your make-up

This is so important – no matter how tired you might be feeling it is vital you remove your make-up before you hit the hay. Leaving it on while you sleep causes irritation and blemishes that take longer a time to go away than it does to clean your face.

 

Cleanse, tone and moisturise

Choose the correct product depending on your skin type: dry, oily or combination, and make sure you cleanse and tone each night. Don’t forget to generously apply a night time moisturiser and work from the neck up.

 

Massage your face as you go

Use the pads of your fingers to gently massage your face in an upward motion to help the blood flow.

 

Use under eye cream

To ensure you wake up with gorgeously, hydrated eyes, you will need to apply an cream for around the eyes.

 

Tie back your hair

And finally, make sure you tie back your hair. not only will it prevents knots in the morning but the oil from your hair can get on your face causing breakouts and blemishes.
