Bella, a Maltese Pomeranian, went missing in December in 2013, and now after THREE years the gorgeous pooch has been reunited with her family!

In what sounds like something from a movie, the beautiful dog was found roaming the streets of New Jersey on her own after spending nine months with another family.

According to Facebook, Bella was found by Ashley Abregu “rolling in dirt”, who then contacted animal services.

After checking the dog’s microchip, Bella’s owner was contacted and he hopped on a flight to New Jersey!

The pair were then finally reunited after a long period of time apart.

“I want to thank everyone who has been involved in this wonderful reunion,” he wrote on Facebook.

“The lesson that I'd like to put out there is that everyone who has a pet that could possibly escape … use a tracking chip.”
