Everyone was talking about the adorable Blue Ivy yesterday, following her red carpet stint at the MTV Video Music Awards, alongside mum Beyoncé.
And while most people were in awe over the four-year-old’s thousand-dollar designer dress, This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby was all about the tot’s Giuseppe Zanotti shoes.
It turns out that Blue isn’t the only lucky kid to own a pair of these fancy, £350 shoes - with Holly’s own daughter, five-year-old Belle, also a proud owner.
In a now controversial Instagram post, mum-of-three Holly shared a split-photo showing Belle and Blue Ivy wearing the same kicks.
“Blue Ivy going to the VMAs…Belle going to a birthday party at the farm!” wrote the 35-year-old.
The post irked a number of Holly’s followers on the social media site however, and many took to the comment section to criticise her for ‘bragging’!
“Don’t show off with ridiculously overpriced trainers, Holly…For a child as well, who will grow out of them in weeks and scuff them in seconds…Bragging wasn't something I had you down for,” wrote one disgruntled follower.
Meanwhile, another chimed in: “I’m going to unfollow you! Thought you had better breeding than this!”
Some devoted fans were quick to jump to Holly’s defence, however, with one hitting back: “It's a mental amount of money for shoes for a teeny one, but I won't lie: if I could afford to live that lifestyle, I’d be very tempted.”
