Popular television show, Game of Thrones, is having a big effect on fans. So much so, that they have even began naming their children after their favourite characters.
 
In 2012 over 146 girls in the U.S. were named Khaleesi, the formal title for Emilia Clarke's character. 
 
While her actual name on the show, Daenerys, was chosen for 21 babies.
 
But the trend isn't just limted to the UK as 21 babies have been registered with the title, Khaleesi.
 
Daenerys is not the only popular character from the show, as other names have been chosen for newborns which include, Catelyn and Sansa.
 
While Arya is the most popular for UK girls, with 104 babies named after the character.
 
But male characters' names are also being selected for baby boys. 15 were named Theon, eight were called Bran and four were called Tyrion.
