As the recent public scuffle between two parents over a coveted Disney Frozen doll shows, Christmas is a stressful time for parents everywhere. There is a lot of planning involved in ensuring Santa delivers the most important items on each child's list.

We're not the only ones getting overwhelmed though, as actress Katie Holmes revealed in a recent interview. Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Katie admitted her eight-year-old daughter Suri had some very detailed requests for Santa.

"We are getting ready for Christmas in my house," the Dawson's Creek actress, 35, told Ellen. "My daughter's 8 years old, and she already has her Christmas list ready. It's written out. She's very organised."

Speaking about the run-up to the festive season, Katie said she had a lot to plan. ""I start to, like, get a little bit of a panic because you cannot screw up talking to Santa," the actress confessed.

"You cannot miss any item on that list, because if you screw that up, that's years and years of hearing about it, and probably therapy," she joked.

When asked if Suri was spoilt or simply very practical, Katie said, "She's just very specific... Like, 'I want a puppy, and then I want a pink collar that has sparkles on it that says the puppy's name. Then I want shoes for the dog...Then I want a purple clip.' Like, it's all very detailed."

Sounds like quite a Christmas list to us!

How far do you let your little ones go with their requests for gifts from Santa?
