If you’re feeling a little emotional right now, you might want to have the tissues to hand.

A mum has shared the stunning results of her sick baby’s very special Christmas photo shoot with Santa.

Jaide Camacho got in touch with Love What Matters, to share the story of her six-month-old son Axel’s first meeting with Kris Kringle, himself.

Little Axel was born with a paediatric stroke and brain haemorrhage, and Jaide and her partner were told that he wouldn’t live ‘but a few more days’.

The stark revelation got Jade thinking: “I remember thinking about what my favourite holiday would be like without him here. I became jealous looking over friends’ and family’s Santa photos, only to realise I cannot take my medically fragile baby to the mall for photos like most others.”

Jaide so desperately wanted to create a special festive memory for Axel, and so she reached out to local photographer Jeff Roffman for a favour.

In fairness to Jeff, he did absolutely everything he could to accommodate the family.

Jaide recalled: “Not only did he make sure Santa had his flu shot, he scheduled my baby Axel’s photos after all the other kiddos had cleared the building. He even asked if he and the staff needed to wear face masks so as not to compromise my son’s health.”

The result, as you can see, is nothing short of stunning – and it has made the season all the more special for Axel’s doting family.

“We are so grateful that God has allowed my son to enjoy this wonderful time of the year with us,” added Jaide.
