A number of Welsh teenagers have been left injured following a shocking bus accident in Eastern France today.

 

According to breaking reports, a bus carrying 48 people – mostly Welsh teens aged 14 to 17 – crashed into a ditch after tipping over a motorway in the Lons-le-Saunier area, near the border with Switzerland.

 

It is understood that the teens were travelling to Italy, on holiday, on the bus.

 

 

The latest reports claim that 13 people have been left injured in the crash, with three people said to be in a ‘serious condition’.

 

Two air ambulance helicopters have been dispatched to the scene.
