We all know that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, but when you are growing up that is definitely something that is hard to contemplate.
And while many of us long for limbs like Taylor Swift or a modelesque height, sometimes being the tallest in class can be frustrating and is just one of those things that only a very few of us can understand.
If you little one is tall for their age, they are sure to understand the following ten things:
1. Everyone thinks they are older than what they are
Your little one may only be seven but everyone talks to them like they are about to head off to college.
2. They always have to stand at the back in photos
You will never have a photo of your child in the front row, unless they are standing at the side.
3. It can be difficult to buy trousers
They are either sitting just above the ankle or they are literally hanging off them at the waist. Leggings are a great alternative.
4. They are expected to know certain things
People are always forgetting that they are younger than they look.
5. They will constantly be told they go into modelling
Because tall people couldn’t possibly do anything else with their life.
6. They will be the ones who get in trouble when things go wrong
Because everyone will automatically assume that they are the older one and should know better.
7. Being told they should be fast because they have longer limbs
But that doesn’t mean they can be moved faster.
8. Everyone will comment on their height. Even family and friends.
Even if they only saw your child last week, they are guaranteed to say: “You’ve grown so much”
9. It's the first thing people comment on meeting them for the first time
Not their beautiful eyes or cheeky grin.
10. Everyone suggests you play basketball
Actually, this is not a bad idea - basketball is pretty cool!
