A 10-year old girl has been reported by Russian officials as boarding a plane alone from St Petersburg to Moscow without a ticket or ID.
The little girl left home to go to school on Tuesday but instead ended up over 400 miles away in another city.
Officials say she managed to board the plane in Moscow’s Vnukovo airport by mingling with a large family with children.
She was eventually picked up by police in St Petersburg’s airport when she was found wandering around the airport unattended.
According to children’s rights ombudsman Pavel Askatov this major slip is a serious alert sign about airport security.
Absolutely mad stuff.
