A big congratulations is in order for Hollywood actress Christina Ricci, who has given birth to a baby boy.
The 34-year-old actress, who confirmed in May she was expecting her first child with husband James Heerdegen, recently welcomed their son into the world.
A spokesperson for the Casper star only confirmed she was pregnant after the actress sent rumours into overdrive when she was spotted strolling through LA Airport with a noticeable baby bump three months ago.
A friend close to the couple previously revealed they couldn't wait to be parents, saying, ''They are thrilled and ready for a change of pace.''
The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Harold Pratt House And Peterson Hall in New York City last October.
Christina, who was previously linked to Chris Evans and Adam Goldberg, met camera technician James on the set of her TV drama Pan Am in 2011.
Christina previously revealed that she enjoyed being able to call James her 'fiancé'.
When asked what she enjoyed most about being engaged, she said, ''Getting to say 'fiancé' instead of 'boyfriend'. People take you so much more seriously once you start throwing around that word.''
The couple have yet to announce the name chosen for their little one.
A big congratulations to the news parents.
