Huge congratulations are in order this morning, as it has been announced that actress Sarah Drew has become a mum for the second time.

A representative for the Grey’s Anatomy star confirmed that she gave birth to her second child, a daughter, on December 3rd.

Sarah and her husband Peter Lanfer are already parents a son, one-year-old Micah Emmanuel.

In a statement released to E! News, the 34-year-old star said: “We are thrilled to welcome baby Hannah Mali Rose to our family. Although we kept her gender a surprise until her birthday, Micah somehow knew she’d be a girl from the moment we told him we were pregnant. He is over the moon to be a big brother to sweet Hannah.”

The star announced the wonderful news that she was expecting her second child back in July, tweeting: “Peter and I are delighted to announce our pregnancy. We can’t wait to introduce Micah to his little brother or sister.”

The star, who plays Dr. April Kepner on the ABC medical drama, has since been posting beautiful photos of her blooming baby bump on her social media.

Congratulations to the family on the arrival of their bundle of joy. We can’t wait to see the first pictures!
