Actress gives birth to her first child

Huge congratulations are in order this evening, as it has been confirmed that actress Hayden Panettiere has given birth to her first child.

 

The star, who is engaged to boxer Wladimir Klitschko, reportedly welcomed a baby girl on December 9^th.

 

A representative for the 25-year-old and her fiancé confirmed the wonderful news to People, revealing that they have chosen the name Kaya for their new bundle of joy.

 

Kaya Klitschko is reported to have weighed in at 7 lb. 14oz., and was 20 inches long.

 

In a statement released by the couple, they revealed their joy at becoming parents for the first time.

 

“We are over the moon and madly in love!” they told the magazine.

 

 

Hayden had kept her social media followers up to date with her progress throughout her pregnancy, posting a series of beautiful photos of her baby bump on Instagram.

 

The actress also went on to reveal the sex of her baby during a red carpet appearance, accidentally referring to her bump as “her” during an interview.
