Major congratulations are in order this morning, as it has been revealed that actress Martine McCutcheon has given birth to her first child.

The former Eastenders star welcomed her first child, a baby boy, with husband Jack McManus.

Taking to her social media channels to share the wonderful news, the 38-year-old wrote: “Thank u all 4 my lovely messages! Baby Raffery is beautiful! Mop of dark hair, heart shaped face and Cupid lips – I’m in love big time”.

The new mum had recently taken to Twitter to share her pregnancy woes as her due date approached, seeking advice from her loyal followers.

“Baby bump is keeping me up – restless legs are a nightmare! Anyone else have this whilst pregnant? I am painting nails….At this hour? WTF?!” she wrote.

The star had also previously spoken of her insomnia, expressing her concern over not being able to rest ahead of her baby’s arrival.

Well, the little one is here now, so let’s hope Martine is able to get well rested before heading home!

The star, who has been married to husband Jack since 2012, announced her baby news back in August.

Congratulations to the happy couple on their amazing news.
