It’s everyone biggest fear. We turn up ready to rock at a party in fancy dress attire only to… wait, why is no one else dressed up? ARGH!
Remember how we cringed for poor Bridget Jones when she turned up at that party dressed like a Playboy bunny, while everyone else was rocking twinsets and pearls?
So we couldn't help but wince at the fail of a dad who turned up to a 60th birthday party dressed in full 60s Woodstock style.
God love him, he misunderstood the '60s' part of the invite!
And after his daughter Sammie tweeted a photo of the dad in his rig-out the Internet has gone crazy for him, mainly because he looks totally bemused and unruffled by the whole thing.
“MY DAD GOT INVITED TO A 60TH BDAY PARTY & THOUGHT IT WAS A 60S PARTY AHAHAH,” she wrote.
According to Sammie, when he first arrived her poor dad was “so confused” while all the other guests were “shocked”.
“I guess he just misread the invitation because it said ‘the big 60,’ or something like that,” she said.
