An entire class has missed out on their first day of school, thanks to one little girl - and it was for the best reason ever!
The first day back to the classroom is both an emotional and exciting time, and a huge milestone in your child's life.
So, when Abby Novotny's mum, Ann, realised that her ten-year-old daughter's adoption ceremony was scheduled for the same day, she realised she had a decision to make.
Instead of her daughter missing out on either of the important events, the mum came up with a brilliant plan: to organise Abby's ENTIRE class to attend the court house.
According to Inside Edition, she worked alongside school administrators to turn the trip into a learning experience .
And by the look on her face, the ten-year-old was shocked and delighted to see her friends there.
