Bev McNeil in the UK is hoping to reunite this Toy Story doll with its owner, thanks to a great online campaign called “Get Woody Home”.

Bev saw the toy on the side of the road near Heathrow airport, but was unable to stop and pick him up.

Seven weeks later Bev happened to be driving by the same spot, when she decided to rescue the doll who was then covered in mud and had a broken arm.

“I’m a big fan of Toy Story and of Woody in particular and it was so sad to see him lying there on the side of the road – just like in the movie. The guy in the car behind me was giving me a very strange look, but when I held up Woody to show him he just said ‘aww’.”

Very much like Woody in the actual film, the doll’s owner’s name, “Liam”, is written on toy's right boot.

The picture of the boot signature has already been posted on social networking site, Twitter and has already been retweeted more than 5,000 times.

Even Disney UK and Toy Story director, Andrew Stanton have retweeted the story in the hopes of reuniting Woody with his owner.
