Oldham police confirm that they have located the child's parents. They have thanked members of the public for their help.

A few months ago, there was widespread shock after footage emerged of a small child wandering alone into a store in Detroit, and this week a similar incident has occurred closer to home.
Police have issued an appeal for help and information after a two-year-old child was found wandering alone in a street in Oldham this morning.
The child, a boy, was spotted walking along Curlew Road alone, dressed in pyjamas and wellington boots. According to reports, the child was not hurt, and a member of the public immediately contacted authorities over the bizarre scene.
Local police took to Twitter to appeal for help in locating the child’s parents, tweeting: “At 6.25 this morning a member of the public has found a young boy aged around 2 years walking on Curlew Road on his own.”
