Brilliant! Traffic jam forces couple to have first dance on HIGHWAY

 

Newlyweds Jeff and Rebecca Payne were on their way to their wedding reception when they got stuck in a traffic jam on the highway for TWO HOURS.

 

However, not willing to let it ruin their big day, the couple decided to have their first dance as husband and wife right there in the middle of the road.

 

 

We are enroute back to Chicago and shortly after we left, we found ourselves in a parking lot of traffic due to 5 car accident. Unfortunately for these two, they're within a half mile of the exit for their reception. We've all been sitting here for going on two hours. These newlyweds are in great spirits though as they're dancing in the middle of the highway and making lemonade from the lemons. Cheers to you two! Life together is all about pushing through adversity! #rescuethepaynes

The accident was caused by a multiple car accident – thankfully, no one was seriously hurt – and cars were at a stand-still when Jeff and Rebecca hopped out for a quick dance.

 

Filmed by videographer Levi Curby, the couple clearly won’t let anything spoil their day.
