Chat show host and funny man Graham Norton has revealed his desire to have children but said he thinks he left it too late to start a family.
The 50-year-old chat show star said that while he did consider becoming a dad at one time, he thinks he’s now too old.
“I did consider becoming a dad at one time, but I think I’ve left it a bit late,” he said. “I’m a bit long in the tooth now. My dogs are my kids.”
Graham, who split from partner Trevor Patterson last year, has two dogs, a labradoodle called Bailey and a terrier called Madge.
A number of older celebrity dads have spoken of their joy at having kids - Elton John at 65 and 54- year-old Simon Cowell to mention a couple - so maybe it’s not too late for Graham after all.
