Simon Cowell openly admits that he suffers from triskaidekaphobia which is the medical term for a person who fear the number 13.

 

In fact, the X Factor boss suffers so badly from the condition that he is afraid his first child will be born on the 13th day of the month. 

 

The music mogul is expecting a son with his girlfriend Lauren Silverman in February and while most dads would be worried about the impending arrival, Simon is more concerned about the date.

 

It is well known that the number 13 is associated with bad luck, however, some people take their superstition to the extreme-  Clearly, Simon is one of these people.

 

He confessed: “Even if I walk up the stairs I am counting how many steps and if it is 13 I make sure it is not going to be 13. So the last number cannot be 13. It can't be 67 either because 6 and 7 adds up to 13. So I will walk an extra step. It is a kind of sign of madness actually.''

 

The happy couple recently enjoy a holiday in St. Barts and while Silverman may have seen it as the perfect setting for a proposal, Simon never got down on one knee.

 

According to sources: “"Simon is concentrating on the baby. There are no plans for a wedding. They will not get married until well after the baby arrives and they are not engaged."

 

At least this February 13^th is not a Friday so the 54-year-old has one less thing to worry about.

Former Spice Girls member Melanie Brown had a scare recently after her daughter Angel suffered her first nose bleed.

 

Since it wasn’t just a typical nose bleed,the worried mum-of-three took her daughter straight to the emergency room in Los Angeles.

 

While co-hosting Australia’s 2DayFM, the reality star told listeners how her little girl, whose father is Eddie Murphy, had to be kept out of school the day before because she was not been feeling well.

 

Mel went on to say: “Then this morning, [she was] completely disoriented and blood was just funnelling like there was no tomorrow, so I took her to the emergency room.”

 

According to the reality star, the doctors did “a bunch of blood tests so we’re just waiting for that stuff to come back. They’re thinking it’s either like some kind of a heart murmur or vessel infection or sinus infection.”

 

The 38-year-old was obviously upset as she talked about her sick daughter. She said: “She had blood tears and she’s got like a heart murmur thing on, poor little thing.”

The British recording artist has two other children, Madison and Phoenix, with her husband Stephan Belafonte, who she married in 2007.

 

 

Kim Kardashian has shared a gorgeous photo of her adorable little girl North on the Ellen show. The happy little seven-month-old is snapped sporting a huge grin across her face.

 

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is clearly besotted with her little one although who could blame her - she is a little cutie. Talking to Ellen, the mum-of-one said: “She changes all the time. One day she'll look like Kanye, one day she'll look like me. It's so crazy. And her personality is so cute. She is really calm and really quiet.” 

 

Another baby might be on the cards for the 34-year-old and her finace Kanye West, as Kim admits that she has “always wanted about six” children. After becoming mum to little Nori, Kim admits that she would love “a million” kids.

 

However, the reality star says that she does want a repeat of the pregnancy that she experienced while carrying her little girl. She confessed: “The pregnancy, I wouldn't really wish that upon anyone. Anyone.”

 

Speaking to Ellen, Kim revealed that while her labour was easy her pregnancy was not all smooth-sailing. The first time mum who suffered from Pre-eclampsia confessed “I had a few medical issues, so it was really tough, and I gained a lot of weight.”

 

 

Jennifer Lopez has the sweetest little boy ever.

 

Talking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she revealed that her five-year-old son Max wrote her a beautiful heartfelt note that read:  ''I'll luv you beyond forever mom (sic)''.

 

The American Idol judge said that she found the note on her bed after she came home from work one evening. The note was in a large envelope that had “To Mom, From Max” written on the outside. Lopez confessed that the find “just made my whole life”.

 

''Beyond forever ... that's the line, that's it. You know, I came home, and it was on my bed and then I opened it and just left it there. It was in a big manila envelope, a yellow envelope, and it said, 'To mom, from Max.' And I opened it, and I was like, 'Oh my God.'''

 

The superstar was clearly still emotional about the note as she said to Ellen: "I'll cry right now. Stop it! Oh my God"

 

The Love Don’t Cost a Thing singer went on to say that her young son is the love of her life: "My son, that's the love of my life right there!"

 

Jennifer’s fellow judge Harry Connick Jr. was a little bit envious of the note. He said: ''That's amazing. I get notes from my kids but it's like, 'I'll love you as long as you want if you give me a hundred dollars.''

Buckingham Palace has just announced that Zara Tindall (nee Phillips) has given birth to a baby girl at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.

 

The little girl, who weight 7lbs and 12oz at birth, is 16^th in line to the throne and is the forth great-grandchild for the Queen and the Duke of Edinburugh.

 

This is the first child for the Olympic silver medallist and her former England rugby star husband Mike Tindall.

 

Buckingham Palace released the following statement: "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Princess Royal, Captain Mark Phillips and Mike’s parents, Mr Phillip and Mrs Linda Tindall, have been informed and are delighted with the news. The baby’s name will be confirmed in due course.

 

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie

 

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have decided that they would like to adopt another child.  The Hollywood superstars already have three adopted children, 12-year-old Maddox, ten-year-old Pax and Zahara who is nine. They also have three biological kids, Shiloh (7) and five-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. The Mr. and Ms. Smith stars would love a two or three-year-old little girl and it is believed that they are looking at Africa as a potential place to adopt from. The couple would love their daughter Zahara to “have a sibling who shares her African heritage.” The nine-year-old is from Ethiopia where Brangelina are currently building an AIDS clinic in her name. “They hope to have everything in place to go ahead with the adoption around April.”

Jay-Z is not too famous to share a dance with his little girl, Blue Ivy. Superstar Beyonce shared an adorable snap on her website of her husband and their two-year-old daughter dancing together at the Versace Mansion in Miami on New Year’s Eve. The Holy Grail rapper, who has worked with the likes of Timbaland and Pharrell Williams, is beaming as he busts a move with the little tot. The couple hosted a party to ring in the New Year as a family before the Drunk in Love singer and her hubby headed off to another bash organised by their friend P Diddy. The 32-year-old held her daughter as the clock struck midnight and they watched the local fireworks before the tot went to bed. There's no doubt that Jay-Z is obviously a softie when it comes to his little girl, but how could anyone blame him? 

 

 

Elizabeth Hurley bought her son Damien a rather odd present - his very own private space to play in.

 

The Austin Powers star spent a reported £11,900 on a specially commissioned shepherd’s hut from The English Shepherds Hut Co. for her 11-year-old boy. The hut is located in the 48-year-old’s Herefordshire mansion, Donnington Hall.

 

According to the company founder, Craig Neild, the unique playhouse was a complete surprise for the young boy: “We delivered it to the courtyard of her gorgeous stately home and then we hid in the shadows. Elizabeth then walked out into the courtyard with her son, covering his eyes and said: 'Here you go, darling, happy Christmas'. We then jumped out of the shadows, a bit DIY SOS-style."

The young lad was reportedly delighted with the gift and said: "Oh Mummy, it’s amazing!" Damien, who is Elizabeth’s only son from her relationship with Steve Bing, is one very lucky boy as the hut comes complete with a double bed and cast iron Calor gas burner.

 

Obviously the owners of the company hope that their association with the Bedazzled actress will bring them some more business from celebrities.

 

The company boss said: "Elizabeth is godmother to the Beckhams’ children, so maybe they will be coming to stay in it. We are hoping for a call soon from the Beckhams saying they would like to order four of our huts!"

Once again, Madonna has gotten herself in hot water following a picture she has shared of her son Rocco on Instagram.

 

While the photo of the 13-year-old was fairly innocent the caption under the snap wasn’t. Material Girl singer wrote: “No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out! #disni**a”.

 

Followers of the popstar were outraged so the American Life hitmaker deleted the comment. However, she replaced it with another one that was just as controversial: “Ok let me start this again #get off of my d*ck haters!”

 

Madonna, who has three other children Lourdes, David and Mercy must have thought about her actions and later added: “I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur. I am not a racist. There's no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention. It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it's a provocative word and I apologise if it gave people the wrong impression.”

 

This is not the first time the mum-of-three has been in trouble for posting a picture of her son. An earlier picture of the boy holding a bottle of gin was posted on the singer’s Instagram. She responded to that criticism by saying: “No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humor! Don't start the year off with judgement!”

Joan Rivers has sunk to a new low as she mocks Kim Kardashian’s daughter, North West.

 

The Fashion Police host joked that the little girl, whose father is Kanye West, is “desperately in need of waxing”. The TV personality reportedly told her audience: ''That baby is ugly ... I've never seen a six-month-old so desperately in need of a waxing.''

 

Joan’s pretty bad joke was part of the 80-year-old’s recent comedy routine and apparently came about after she met the tot and her mum at the E! Television network.

 

Like most fathers, Kanye is particularly protective of his seven-month-old daughter and won’t be best pleased at the comedian’s comment. The Bound 2 rapper previously talked about his duties as a father: ''One of the things was to be protective, that I would do anything to protect my child or my child's mother. As simple as that.''

 

He went on to say: “This is my baby. This isn’t America’s baby.”

 

Shockingly, Kim has already had to take to Twitter to defend her adorable little girl’s appearance. “Do people really think I would wax my daughters eyebrows so young? Come on, I'd wait until she's at least 2 1/2! ‘I'm kidding!!!”

 

She added: “Its pretty sick for people to insinuate that I would wax my daughters eyebrows. They are thick, natural and amazing!”

Kelly Clarkson has revealed that she is expecting a girl with her husband Brandon Blackstock.

 

The Because of You singer took to Twitter to reveal her happy news: "We just found out we're having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!"

 

The 31-year-old announced that she was expecting her first child not long after she married Brandon in October 2013.

 

While she may be excited about impending motherhood, the Since U Been Gone hitmaker has confessed that pregnancy is nothing like she thought it would be.

 

Talking on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, she said:  “Everybody tells you [that] you glow and your hair is pretty and your nails are pretty. That's total crap. My nails are short, my hair still falls out - it's not all lush and beautiful - and I have no glow. Unless it's, like, something left over from a bad throw up. It's horrible.”

 

Unfortunately the singer-songwriter has not been having a particularly easy pregnancy and it seems she is only able to keep down potatoes. The American Idol winner told her Twitter followers: “Ladies if you r pregnant & sick as a dog trust me when I say the one thing u will keep down might just be “baked potatoes” #godblesspotatoes.”

 

Clarkson, who married her beau in a very small and intimate ceremony, is already step-mum to Brandon’s two children from a previous relationship.

 

Michael Bublé is enjoying fatherhood so much that he confirmed his devotion to his son by getting a tattoo of little Noah’s name.

 

Bublé is obviously proud of the inking on his wrist and took to Twitter to show it off. The It’s a Beautiful Day hitmaker captioned the photo: "I know some have been asking about it... So here it is, my new tattoo!! #Noah #ontour #family #mbworldtour#tattoo."

 

Thankfully, the five-month-old appears to be a fan of the inking. In the adorable picture, it looks like the youngster is pointing up at the tattoo as he holds his dad’s hand.

 

The Canadian singer’s wife, Luisana Lopilato, gave birth to the couple’s first child back in August 2013 and the 38-year-old has never been happier: He said: "I’ve got a great family. I’ve got a great, happy life. I’ve got a woman I’m in love with."

 

While he may gush over his family and fatherhood, the crooner says he has not always been a big softie. The three times Grammy Award winner recently admitted to having a history of violence: "I was prone to violence as a kid, and I'll tell you now, I'm not a big man - I'm about 5ft 10in and weigh about 160Ib - I could do it again, and probably will."

Controversial mum Katie Hopkins has been at it again.

 

Hopkins is a very outspoken Yahoo! blogger and she recently took to her column to express her views on what she calls the “five types” of mums. These include fat mums, home schooling mums, dad-mums, eco mums and PTA mums.

 

She even offered up advice on what you should do if you come across these particular mothers. For example, she advises you to avoid the PTA mum “at all costs”, and to “pity” the kids of eco mums.

 

Not surprising, the outspoken mother-of-two hit a nerve with many parents around the country. However, while most took to Twitter and Facebook to voice their anger, Karen Bower sat down and wrote an open letter to the former Apprentice star on her blog, Railman.blog.co.uk.

 

Bower, who is chair of a school’s PTA and also home schools her kids, wrote: “This isn’t about you. This is to every single mum and Dad who got up this morning determined to do the best for their child. Even when breakfast was supposed to be banana museli but ended up being chocolate pancake. Even when the school run degenerated into a series of rants about lost ties and shoes and unbrushed teeth. Even when homeschool started with a game of minecraft.”

 

She added: “Life isn’t about living in a box.”

 

 

Peter Andre recently became a dad for the third time after his girlfriend Emily McDonagh gave birth to a little girl earlier this month. However, while the couple have yet to give their baby a name, Andre revealed that they do have a nickname for her.

 

In his New! Column the singer wrote: "Last week I revealed one of my resolutions was to find a nickname for our baby girl. We’re getting there but for now, it’ll stay 'Bista’s sister'"

 

Talking about the little girl’s lack of name, the Mysterious Girl hitmaker said: "We have the next couple of weeks to think of a name."

 

Like most new fathers, the doting dad admits that he is “not getting much sleep at the moment”. He went on to say: “I’m not knackered. I’m just so excited. At the moment, I’m averaging six hours of broken sleep a night. And for me, that’s not a lot".

 

The 40-year-old has had to return to work and reveals that was not what he had originally planned to do: "Originally, my plan was to work all of January and have February off, but now the baby’s here I want to space out my days off so I’ve got more time at home."

The couple are reportedly staying in Emily’s parent’s home in Somerset to help the 24-year-old settle into motherhood.  

Channing Tatum’s seven-month-old daughter Everly has inherited her mum’s eating habits.

 

The Witches of East End star Jenna Dewan-Tatum doesn’t eat meat and has revealed that her little girl Everly is a vegetarian as well: "She eats fruits and veggies and nothing else."

 

The Step Up star admits that she has no plans to introduce meat into her little one’s diet anytime soon and says that Everly can make her own decision when she is older. She said: "I just want her to be healthy, choose healthy food habits. We'll let her decide."

 

The American actress admits that both her and Channing are "complete polar opposites" when it comes to their diets.  While the girls in his life stay away from eating meat, Channing Tatum is apparently a real "meat eater".

 

Jenna admits: "Sometimes I can drag him to my vegetarian vegan restaurants - he politely eats, then promptly goes home and eats what he really wants!"

 

The mother-of-one also confessed that she is still trying to adapt to her new role as a mum. The 33-year-old admits:  "I'm trying to do eight million things in an hour. She doesn't like to nap longer than an hour so I've got an hour to get everything I want done!"

 

However, she went on to add that her LA home is very “homey and fun.” She revealed: “There's lots of music on and lots of laughter – it's great."
