Penelope Cruz has admitted that she finds breastfeeding addictive and doesn’t look forward to stopping: “[Nursing] is addictive. It’s hard when the day comes when you have to stop.”

 

The Twice Born actress, who has two children with husband Javier Bardem, revealed that she breastfed her son Leonardo until he was 13 months and hopes to do the same for her six-month-old daughter Luna.

 

“I'm supposed to get extra calories because breast-feeding, you burn an extra 500 a day. I was breastfeeding my son 13 months and I plan to do the same with my daughter.”

 

The star adds that she feels very lucky that she can breastfeed her kids “because sometimes even if a woman wants to, she can’t”

 

The 39-year-old also reveals that having a family was always her main focus, as it is hugely important to her. “I always knew I wanted a family because of the way I grew up.”

 

It seems the mum-of-two had a very “free” upbringing as she admits that every Sunday as they cleaned sometimes members of her family would dance around the house naked: “In my house every Sunday, everybody was cleaning the house. There was always music, and everybody was dancing, sometimes naked around the house. Not hippie, but very free”

It looks like Bruce Willis is going to become a dad for the fifth time at the tender age of 58.

 

Rumours started when his wife, Emma Heming-Willis, was spotted with a baby bump on a family outing and it looks like the supermodel is several months pregnant.

 

Bruce and Emma already have a 20-month-old daughter, Mabel, and the dad-of-four has three children from his marriage to Demi Moore: Rumer (25), Scout (22) and 19-year-old Tallulah.

 

With four children and one on the way it is lucky that the Die Hard actor loves being a father. "It's fulfilling, very fulfilling. It's real life. On screen I pretend as if I'm alive. At home, I'm me. Being a father is the most wonderful task."

 

The actor, who will star in a new action movie The Prince, admits that as his family grows he is less caught up with his career. “I pay more attention now because I value it more and I’m less caught up with my career.”

 

The 58-year-old says his family is the main focus of his life and lives for his kids and wife. "I feel like a caveman protecting his family, living for his family. I have four daughters, I get up at seven am when our baby wakes up. My family has become the focus of my life and the entire meaning of it.”

Simon Cowell will be spending Christmas cruising around Barbados in a yacht with his ex Sinitta, while his pregnant girlfriend spends the holidays in the Hamptons in New York.

 

There won’t be any family feuds though as Lauren, who “respects how important Sinitta is to Simon”, has given her full blessing to the strange arrangement.

 

The X Factor boss and Sinitta seemed to have patched up their recent falling out and they will be joined on The Slipstream by her partner Jason and her two children, eight-year-old Magdalena and Zac who is five.   

 

Lauren won’t be alone though as she will be spending the special day with her seven-year-old son Adam. “Lauren wanted to be with her son on Christmas Day and was happy for Simon to spend it with Sinitta, her two kids and Sinitta’s partner.”

 

Spending Christmas day apart may have something to do with the fact that Simon is not allowed have any contact with Lauren’s son until 2015. As part of the divorce settlement between the 36-year-old and her ex husband, Andrew Silverman, Lauren will be hit with a $50,000 fine if Simon goes near the seven-year-old.

 

If she breaks the agreement more than three times she will lose contact with her son for a limited period of time. 

Singer Pink wishes her daughter was old enough to appreciate how cool she is right now. “Unfortunately she won't be old enough to remember I was cool."Willow, look at this magazine! Who's on the cover?" "Mom, that was so long ago."

 

The Glitter in the Air singer, who has been married to her husband Carey Hart for seven years, admits that she is having the “best year” she has ever had. However, she wishes her two-year-old could understand the success of her mum’s career: “I wish Willow was 14 to see me like this.”

 

The star recently won Billboard magazine’s Woman of the Year Award so she probably won’t have any problems in the future convincing her little girl that she was a music star. The pop sensation even stuck up for girl power during her acceptance speech: “'I wish that girls embraced their power and their worth and their value in their youth, and not sell it or barter it for anything and have to buy it back later in life.”

 

The 34-year-old has been taking a break from her world tour as she enjoys some quality time with her family.  The proud mum jokingly said last year that they were going to call it the “Willow Tour, because as long as it works for her, I’m there.”

 

The mum-of-one’s next stop on her Truth About Love Tour will be Minnesota’s Target Centre in Minneapolis on 7^th January and her family will accompany her there. 

Olivia Wilde, who is expecting her first baby with her fiancé Jason Sudeikis, revealed that she is trying to be a “strong” pregnant woman like her mum.

 

The former House star admits that she hopes to follow in the example of her mother Leslie Cockburn, a TV documentary maker, who travelled to war zones while she was pregnant with Olivia and her other children, Chloe and Charles.

 

During an interview on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno the Rush star said: “I have a great mom. But she set the standard quite high. When I'm worrying about, 'Am I allowed to get on the treadmill?' My mom's like, 'I was in warzones with you guys!' It's good. It makes me feel like I'm not afraid of anything, I can keep going.”

 

The 29-year-old actress adds that when she worries about exercising too much, she reminds herself of what her mother did while she was pregnant and knows she is capable of anything.

 

Wilde went on to reveal that people don’t realise she is pregnant because her bump is so small and are afraid to say anything: “I think it's because unless someone is watching you give birth they don't want to make the wrong call, because that's the worst thing in the world - when you congratulate a non-pregnant woman on her pregnancy.”

There will be a lot of Christmas cheer in the Klum household this year as the supermodel fills her eight bedroom house with six Christmas trees.

 

The America’s Got Talent judge admits that the reason she bought the mini forest for the festive season is because she has so many kids.  She also added that her huge purchase caused a stir in the lot with the owners taking pictures of her and all her trees. “That's a lot of trees, I know. They were taking photos of us when we left the lot, and they were like, 'Oh my gosh, they've got the whole forest!' But it's because I have so many kids!" 

 

The supermodel had no problem finding a place to put the trees and each of her four children got one in their bedrooms “This year for the first time [the kids] each have their own tree in their room”.

 

The mum also revealed that she bought her kids unicycles even though seven-year-old Johan, Leni who so nine, and eight-year-old Henry, want “silly things like glowing pet pillows” for the big day.

 

When asked what she hopes to find under the tree on Christmas morning, the Project Runway host would love if her kids made her something: “I love arts and crafts, and I like when my kids make things for me. I have an entire wall on the second floor of the house that's all [their creations]."

The record producer shared the sweet snap with his Instagram followers with the caption: “Happy Holidays! Love, The Combs Family.”

 

It must have taken a lot of planning and preparing to get his entire brood together and dress them in their very elegant formal wear. All the boys including Sean wore identical suits and bow ties while the girls looked gogeous in similar black dresses, which were complimented by their red bows.

 

The clan consists of Sean's stepson Quincy and his five biological children: twenty-year-old Justin, Christian who is 15, seven-year-old twins D’Lila and Jessie and Chance who is also seven.

 

However, with three different mothers in the family, it is not surprising that only Diddy and his kids posed for the holiday snap. Justin is from Diddy’s relationship with his high school sweetheart Misa Hylton-Brim while Quincy, Christian, D’Lila and Jessie are all the children of Kim Porter. The three-times Grammy Award winner has legal responsibility of Chance whose mother is Sarah Chapman.

 

JLS singer Marvin Humes has revealed that he will spoil his daughter Alaia-Mai this festive season.

 

This will be the gorgeous little girl’s very first Christmas so it is not surprising that the besotted dad will want to indulge his daughter a bit.

 

“I started my Christmas shopping so early this year. As soon as the shops started putting out the festive decorations, I went straight out to Selfridges and bought a bauble that says, 'Baby's First Christmas'. It's so cute!”

 

Marvin and his wife Rochelle Hume, who is a member of The Saturdays, know that their seven-month-old won’t remember any of the festivities so they plan on capturing it all on camera: “[I know she won't remember] but we're still going to spoil her so we can film it and show it to her when she's older.”

 

The young family also plan on hosting the big dinner this year as they want to celebrate the special day at home with their little girl. ''Rochelle and I have our own family now, so we're going to have everyone come over to us.''

 

It is not just Marvin and his wife who will be celebrating their very first Christmas this year as a family. Rochelle’s fellow band mate Frankie Sandford will also be preparing for two-month-old Parker Bridge’s first big day. 

Coleen Rooney shared a very sweet snap of her sons Kai and Klay meeting Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse on her Facebook account.

 

The 27-year-old mum-of-two captioned the post: “Kai and Klay with Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse. Can't wait for Christmas with my boys...not long left now! X.”

 

Kai looks slightly bemused sitting beside the oversized popular Disney character with just Mickey’s hands visible on his shoulders. Klay on the other hand has a very cheeky grin as he sits in his stroller, Donald’s hand is protectively holding on to the buggy.  

 

Mickey Mouse also made an appearance in the form of a pen as the brothers posed alongside Santa for the more traditional Christmas snap earlier in the month. The brothers looked slightly happier posing alongside old St. Nick. Klay looked exceptionally happy in the festive photo and seems to be find something very amusing going on behind the camera.

 

Recently, the mum-of-two spent some quality time with her eldest son Kai at Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland. The four-year-old looked like he was having a great time as he held his mum’s hand very tightly as they went around the rink. The mother son duo looked snug and sweet in their matching quilted jackets.

This week, little Nori turned six months old. Proud mum Kim posted an adorable snap of the little cutie on her Instagram account to mark the occasion. The picture was titled “Smile” and captured a delighted looking North beaming at her mother, who was behind the camera. We’ve only been treated to a handful of photos of the littlest member of the Kardashian clan, but this one is definitely our favourite so far. Just before a shopping trip with her sister Kourtney, Kim indulged fans by holding a Twitter Q&A. One fan asked what her favourite thing about North was, to which Kim responded: “It’s really hard to choose but her baby smell and her laugh!” Kim also revealed her feelings towards becoming a mother: “It completely changed my life. You have a different set of proprieties [sic]. Nothing matters except your brand new family.”

 

 

In a spectacular U-turn, it has been reported that Cheryl Cole will return to The X Factor. And it has also been speculated that Simon Cowell will make a reappearance on the show too.

 

Given the very bitter and very public feud between the two since the singer was axed from The X Factor US show just days after she had taken her seat - this is definitely going to make interesting viewing. And it seems quitely likely to happen, with Simon Cowell recently saying he would like to work with her again.

 

As Sharon Osbourne and Gary Barlow have both announced their departure, the return of Cowell and Cole will give the show a boost, especially as ratings have been falling every year and losing ground to their rival show, Strictly Come Dancing.

 

Pop sensation Madonna’s parenting has been the subject of debate since she uploaded the above picture of her 13-year-old son Rocco on her Instagram account.

 

In the photo, Rocco, whose dad is Guy Ritchie, can be seen in the middle holding what looks like a bottle of gin. His two friends on either side of him are each showing off a bottle of vodka. The Queen of Pop captioned the photo: “The party has just begun! Bring it! 2014.”

 

The snap, which was taken during a family skiing holiday in Gstaad, Switzerland, has been met with criticism online with one fan saying it was “extremely irresponsible”. The legal drinking age in Switzerland is 16 while it is 21 in the US.

 

However, the Die Another Day singer insists that her son wasn’t actually drinking. "No one was drinking we were just having fun! Calm down and get a sense of humour! Don't start the year off with judgement!"

 

Madonna, who is also mum to 17-year-old Lourdes and adopted David Banda and Mercy James, both eight years old, has previously admitted that she wishes she was a tougher parent: "I think I am [tough], but honestly I don't think I'm as tough as I should be. I think I need to be maybe tougher. It's hard though. Everyday is a negotiation."

Gisele Bundchen has an unusual way of taking her dog for a walk.

 

The supermodel and her husband Tom Brady took their four-year-old son Benjamin and their dog Lua for a stroll in snow covered Boston. Unfortunately, it must have been too cold for 12-month-old Vivian as she was nowhere to be seen.  

 

However, rather than pushing the young boy in the buggy, the family’s bull-terrier had a very comfortable ride as the four-year-old kindly gave his seat to their dog. Both Gisele and Tom took it in turns to push the pooch while little Benjamin was happy enough to walk on the snow covered ground.

 

It seems the couple like to treat their bull-terrier like one of their children - both Benjamin and Lua were wrapped up well against the cold weather. The dog looked snug wrapped up in a hooded vest from Tom’s football team the New England Patriots. The family went on to enjoy a snowball fight while Lua looked on from the comfort of his seat.

 

The storms in Boston have given the model and her family more opportunities for quality time. Bundchen recently posted a picture on her Instagram account of her lying on the ground holding Vivian and her husband also on the ground playing with Benjamin. The mum-of-two captioned the photo: "Perfect Sunday! #love #grateful #family Domingo perfeito! #amor #gratidao #familia. 

 

Not one to miss out, their much loved dog can be seen curled up enjoying the chaos. 

Most mums have some kind of pet name for their children like the traditional sweetie, darling or baby.

 

Jessica Simpson, on the other hand, has a very unusual, yet extremely cute one for her adorable baby boy Ace Knute.

 

The singer recently posted a very sweet black and white snap of her little boy on Twitter and in doing so, revealed her pet name for Ace... Snuggle Bug.

 

The 33-year-old star photographed her six-month-old boy sitting very comfy in a baby swing. She captioned the photo: “My snuggle bug...”

 

Simpson, who is the spokesperson for Weight Watchers, also has an 18-month-old daughter with her fiancé Eric Johnson.  

 

The Dukes of Hazzard’s star recently admitted that she is “one of those pregnant women who gains a lot of weight”.

 

The former reality star previously confessed that she was so excited to find out she was having a son, since she didn’t have a brother growing up.  

 

She told People Magazine: “I didn’t grow up with a brother and I think the unknown is really exciting. I can’t wait to have that connection with our little man.”

 

Let’s hope she has an equally adorable pet name for her little girl.
