Pop star Christina Aguilera has given birth to a baby girl.
The new baby was delivered by caesarian section, after the 33-year-old star checked into a private birthing suite in Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in LA.
This is the singers second child, but the first with fiancé Matt Rutler, who she started dating in 2010. They announced the pregnancy in February along with their engagement.
Christina also has a six-year-old boy, Max, with ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
Christina worked right up to the birth, tweeting a picture on Monday of her in a recording studio with headphones over the bump, captioned:
“Baby girl getting first listen to what mama's been creating in the studio”
