Introducing your kids to the workings of a computer is one of the most important things you can do as they grow up.

Computers are here to stay and will likely play a prominent role in their future, and the earlier we introduce children to them the easier they will find learning it.

However, computers can be a tough thing to learn, especially when it comes to coding - the main thing many people shy away from.

However, a new book, Create With Code: Build Your Own Website, takes away the technology terminology that can be tough to translate and makes coding possible for a whole new generation.

In this handbook, created in conjunction with the CoderDojo Foundation, the reader will learn how to put together their own websites using HTML, CSS and JavaScript - as well as how to start their own CoderDojo Nano club with friends.

These clubs (as known as Dojos) encourage children to work together and to teach each other how to code, harnessing creativity and teamwork.

CoderDojo Nano: Build Your Own Website, the first in a series of coding handbooks for children, from the number one licensed children publisher, Egmont Publishing.

The series brings together values of teamwork, creativity and entrepreneurship, along with top tips and clear step-by-step guides to building your own websites.

Published by Egmont Publishing, it will be available from Thursday, 28th July
