Police are currently searching for a father and his two young children who have been missing since last week.

Anthony Jones, his six-year-old daughter, Elise, and his three-year-old son, Phoenix, were last seen in Towyn in Conwy, North Wales last Thursday.

Police have said that the family have not had any contact from the 46-year-old or his children, and are understandably very concerned about their welfare.

Anthony is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of heavy build with a short grey beard. He has tattoos of a Liverpool badge and a scorpion, and is believed to be driving a green Mercedes estate car with the registration R661 ADP.

Cheshire Police’s Chief Inspector Derek Lockie is urging the father to get in touch and is appealing to the public for any information to come forward.

“We’re appealing to the public to provide us with any information that may help to trace Anthony and his children. Our primary concern is the safety and wellbeing of all three of them, and I would urge Anthony to get in touch to let us know that they're okay."

Anyone who has any information should contact Cheshire police on 101, quoting incident 486 of August 15, 2015

Update 18th August 2015: Police took to Twitter to confirmed that Anthony and his two children have been found safe and well.
